Aaron Hayworth

Faith and Food Coordinator, Resourceful Communities

Aaron works with rural churches and faith coalitions to strengthen food ministries and local food economies. Drawing on his own experience with local churches, he focuses on helping our faith partners discover new strategies to achieve their goals, build partnerships, and embrace opportunities to help their churches and communities thrive.

Aaron joined Resourceful Communities as Faith and Food Coordinator in 2021. Before that he worked as a United Methodist pastor in rural and urban settings. He holds an MDIV from Duke University Divinity School and a BA in American Studies-Southern Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his free time Aaron enjoys playing folk instruments, cooking, and writing.
