Brad Meiklejohn
Senior Representative, Conservation Acquisition
Brad opened The Conservation Fund’s Alaska Office in 1994. In collaboration with the Army Corps of Engineers, he started an in-lieu fee wetlands mitigation program, the first of its kind in Alaska. While the program is administered by the Corps, Brad has managed the investment of the in-lieu fee proceeds for over 300 projects across Alaska. These investments have protected over 300,000 acres of high-value wetlands valued at $30 million.
