Ali Huber-Disla
Healthy Economies Coordinator, Resourceful Communities
Ali Huber-Disla is the Healthy Economies Coordinator at Resourceful Communities. She provides technical assistance, networking opportunities, and capacity building to organizations in Western North Carolina with a focus on economic development. Before joining Resourceful Communities, Ali worked as a 4-H Agent in Eastern North Carolina in Camden County with NC Cooperative Extension. She is passionate about the environment, community development, food systems, and youth development as seen in her previous work at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS), and the Equity Research Action Coalition.
Ali grew up in Durham, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Public Policy and Environmental Studies and a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Public Policy with a focus in community development and local food policy.
