Kai Fang
Director of Brand Strategy
Kai Fang recently joined The Conservation Fund as the Director of Brand Strategy and newest member of the MarComms Department. With over two decades of industry experience developing digital and traditional communications for both Fortune 500 companies and leading advocacy groups across the country, Kai is nationally recognized for conceptual and strategic development of large, fully integrated advertising and branding campaigns with proven expertise in emerging media, user experience, social change and digital content development.
As a nature-lover, wildlife advocate and amateur farmer Kai is passionately aligned with our mission. He's worked on a multitude of conservation efforts, from flood mitigation initiatives for FEMA to protecting historic landmarks with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Kai has provided thought leadership for the American Advertising Federation on diversity and inclusion initiatives as well as speaking on innovation and technology panels for the Public Relations Society of America. He has served as adjunct faculty at Georgetown University, Montgomery College, Maryland College of Art & Design and The Creative Circus.
Kai earned a B.F.A. with Honors from the Art Center College of Design, an M.F.A. with Distinction from American University in Film and Electronic Media and an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
