Stacia Stanek

Associate Director, Government Relations

Stacia joined The Conservation Fund in 2015 and brings more than 8 years of environmental policy experience in the non-profit and federal government sectors.  Her work focuses on federal conservation policy and Congressional appropriations across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S.  She also maintains the Fund's federal agency partnerships with the Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  She works closesly with Congress, including both the Senate and the House of Representatives on key policy issues.

Prior to joining TCF, Stacia worked at the Wildlife Conservation Society and as an environment, energy, and transportation policy advisor for Senator Russ Feingold.  She holds an M.A. in Zoology from Miami University of Ohio and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Southern California.  Stacia grew up in Wisconsin, along the Mississippi River.
