Jake Cooke
Government Relations representative
Jake assists the Fund with the Executive Branch, U.S. Congress, and non-governmental organizations regarding federal conservation policy and funding opportunities. Jake works with the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwestern Congressional delegations to conserve fish and wildlife habitat; improve hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation access; promote sustainable economic development; and preserve America’s cultural history. He is the Fund’s liaison with the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Department of Transportation, and U.S. Economic Development Administration.
Previously, Jake worked at a small lobbying firm, focusing on a number of issues, including veteran’s toxic exposure. He has a B.A. and Masters in Public Policy from George Washington University. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing golf.
