Christine LepineRakesh Ranjan is a Research Scientist for the Freshwater Institute. He is responsible for research on precision aquaculture and utilizing sensing technologies, machine learning, and big data to enhance the productivity of intensive land-based aquaculture. His outreach includes writing peer-reviewed publications and presenting research findings at international scientific conferences. Rakesh holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University, a Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT - Kharagpur, India) and a Bachelor of Technology from the College of Technology (Pantnagar, India), both in Agricultural and Food Engineering.
