Kata Sharrer

Engineering Technician, Freshwater Institute

Kata Sharrer is an Engineering Technician at the Freshwater Institute. She is responsible for using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to produce 3D models and 2D design drawings. She also produces outreach materials, technical illustrations, marketing materials and assists with organization and planning of the Aquaculture Innovation Workshop, short courses and other events. Kata holds a Master of Science from Hood College, a Bachelor of Science from Shepherd University and is an "Audodesk Certified Professional - AutoCAD." She has been at the Freshwater Institute for 15 years.
