To Celebrate Earth Day, Your Gift Will Be Matched!

Earth Day is a day to celebrate nature—and if you are reading this, you’re probably a fellow nature lover! Spending time in nature has always been respite for me—it’s when I feel most at peace. From bustling cities, small towns to rural homesteads, today is an opportunity for all of us to come together and appreciate and respect the natural world.

It is also a time when we need to think about our hopes for the future of America’s lands, natural resources and people. There are many challenges ahead, but at The Conservation Fund we are making progress every day toward creating solutions that make both environmental and economic sense. Top-ranked for efficiency and effectiveness, we’ve worked in all 50 states to protect over 8.5 million acres of land with the help of our amazing supporters, donors, staff and partners.

One of these dedicated individuals is Jay Winthrop, the Chair of our Board. I’m thrilled to announce that he has volunteered to match all online donations in honor of Earth Day. That means your online gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar today and through midnight tomorrow, 4/23!*

“I’m fortunate to be involved with The Conservation Fund. The staff are dedicated to their work and are leaders in the field of conservation. I feel it is vitally important to support the work of the Fund every day, especially on Earth Day. The organization plays a key role in protecting special places across America, from working farms and forests to national and city parks. I’m thankful to play a role in ensuring future generations like my kids will benefit from places to explore outside!”
