Gilette News Record, 10 February 2016 – Mule deer migrating in the Green River Basin this spring will have an easier path, thanks in part to research conducted at the University of Wyoming. UW researchers produced the “Red Desert to Hoback Mule Deer Migration Assessment,” which led to improved conservation of the longest-known movement of mule deer in the United States.
