Jason Huffman, Undercurrent News – The Freshwater Institute, a Shepherdstown, West Virginia-based division of The Conservation Fund, has been providing RAS training since 2000 and, including the 40 attendees at this year's second-straight, sold-out, four-day event, has trained more than 600 people, estimates Brian Vinci, Freshwater Institute's director.
