Kellen Short, The Chattanoogan, 27 March 2015 – Grandfather Mountain’s iconic Mile High Swinging Bridge and Grandfather Trail are now among the newest sites available for 360-degree virtual viewing on Google Maps Street View. Through a partnership between Google, The Conservation Fund, Grandfather Mountain State Park and the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation, visitors can now examine every angle of the 228-foot suspension bridge and the rugged hiking path to MacRae Peak with the few clicks of the keyboard.
