We provide financing for conservation in many different ways, including funds for acquisition of valuable lands and waters, bridge financing through loans, and grants and loans to entrepreneurs who are developing sustainable and successful solutions to conservation problems.  Our assistance frequently goes to those in underserved and economically distressed communities.  

NCIFund specializes in providing the equity-like capital that traditional lenders either can't or won't; we use our familiarity with the often unfamiliar green sectors to make loans to entrepreneurs with tenacity and a determination to build environmentally responsible businesses.

This web presence is a leading resource for practitioners, investors, conservationists, students and others. Our work draws from a start in and focus on the United States and touches on international approaches. We produce original content and curate the work of other organizations. We create news, research, policy, training and convenings related to conservation finance. We cover all the world’s ecosystems including forests, agriculture, oceans, cities and rivers.
